“We are a seasoned team of professionals. Our company members include SAG/Aftra actors, industry stunt performers, lifeguards, technical dancers and more. Dark Tide Productions represents a team of diversity through ethnic background, sexual orientation, age and spiritual beliefs. We are not the boys and girls next door.“

-Jack Laflin, Founder and Artistic Director

Dark Tide Productions, LLC is the creation of Jack Laflin and co-developed by Clinton Kyles. Providing entertainment for a variety of events, this Los Angeles based company started working privately via corporate bookings before its public launch. Diversity is at the founding core of Dark Tide Productions. Noticing the striking lack of diversity and culture in the entertainment industry, Jack knew he wanted a legitimately talented, but varied team. He also wanted a company rooted in fantasy, performances inspired by the mythical and magical. Something he wasn’t currently seeing anywhere else.

From mermaids to elves, every performance is based on a mythological creature from appearance to movement. From aerial angels to reptilian belly-dancers, Dark Tide Productions always strives to be edgier, darker and sexier than an average performance.

Our Story :

Inspired by fantasy films and literature, he wanted to create more than an entertainment company, Jack wanted to create more immersive performances clients, always with a focus on fantasy themes. Joined by Clinton Kyles, the two created Dark Tide Productions. Backed by a cast of experienced performers, dancers and stunt professionals, the team is proud to create worlds that entertain and dazzle the senses.
